Thanks Powell and Ice, these are things a parts changer doesn't deal with often.
I used to know it all but I forgot a lot,
a whole lot in fact.
What still remember is "lefty loosy, righty tighty."...
Thanks, what you say is what was there before.
Johnstone's B93-492 has about the same dimensions has about the same ratings you gave.
But what gets me is pumping 10800 BTU/Hr with a large TD.
Does anyone know the size (BTU/Hr) of a Snyder General DH-61-1R refrigeration coil.
It came second hand with a charged condensing unit having a CR18KQ-PFV-*** compressor.
Upon releasing the charge...
This is very nice code.
For the tech's that I will be presenting to I think I will point out the setpoint SAS and how it can be changed depending on the occupancy, and The DBSWIT command on 0510 for...
Thanks NickDeal for sharing your code.
It uses all the basic commands I see all the time but I am having trouble following it without point descriptions.
Would you mind sharing them too?
I am going to give a talk on building automation to a few tech's in the area. I would like distribute a page of simple PPCL code. The intent is not to teach code writing, just show an example. I...
"Rail" had a good experience, as many people have. However, there have been many owners who have had bad experiences - as well as the tech's who had to explain the failure somehow.
One entry asks how do you get any cleaning fluid in, and that is a good question.
I have poured in solvent when the line was big enough, and I have around somewhere a little container with a screw...
I agree the inducer probably should come on as well as the blower to be extra safe and clear out any gas (if the gas valve opened).
If I had to use anything other than RX-11, I think I would choose mineral spirits. Isn't mineral spirits a more pure solvent?
However, mineral spirits is also very flammable.
It would take a...
In most residential furnaces is the inducer motor energized on a call for heat when a limit is open?
As I recall many older furnaces the module never gets energized with an open limit, but what...
I think I will do the following:
Before the end of the summer I will get back out to this place and do some static pressure readings.
Then, if it works out that the temperature rise is too high at...
Does anybody know of any reliable data on the reduction of costs of air conditioning with and without an operating economizer?
Rooftop economizers are expensive to repair.
The science is good...
The reference for my cities competency card test was NFPA 96, Commercial Kitchen Exhausts, or something like that.
It is worth having and isn't all that expensive.
What I recall them saying is...
I got a good job in a Hospital Maintenance Department one summer while I was in school.
Learned a lot.
It is like looking for any job - you just have to be in the right place at the right time.
There was this great article in some magazine about a reefer semi in Mexico with about a $1 Million dollars worth of seafood in it.
Some shmuck tech comes along and becomes a hero because he...
Before getting to be a "regulator" a little time in the field would be good.
Just try telling the restuarant owner with one customer all day that you will look for the leak but they are tough to...
Well, it looks like I did it. The furnace blower seems to be too big for the ductwork. When I slow up the blower the heat rise get high, and even will trip the furnace off on the hi-limit.
Thanks drj controls
You know, I ran out to my regional carrier guys.
Since I am not a carrier dealer they first wanted not to help. But they have seen me around over the years and gave me a copy...
I do not have NWST and don't want to buy it yet.
I just got called in job that is password protected (level4 or level1)
Can it be unlocked from the display?
