we have a class around here for scottsman, mani, and iceo. they are mostly just warranty cert. classes i think. around here the mani is the most informative. the rest are sales pitches.

don't know how urgent you have to get a job but i would recommend sticking to your guns if you want a tech position. too many places start you out as an installer because that is where they are...

not sure where you are but try to go to the local hvac parts place and see if any one has posted jobs and ask them what places they would recommend you checking out. that is how i found both jobs....

you might be able to put in a door sweep. may have to modify it to close properly
