You probably have airflow problems,probably in the duct system and will really have airflow problems if they install a four ton without finding out what's wrong.

I'd think that you'd want just a heat pump and turn it up (summer) when you're not there . It can't dehumidfy if it's not running.

I would suggest that you get a contractor in your area that you feel comfortable with and go with whatever brand he sells. The different brands tend toward being more or less all the same...

It will be less efficient and you'll lose some humidity control. It's entirely up to you if you want to go the high $$ route or not. You'll still have a/c and heat the cheap route.

We just flush the lineset with Rx11 and blow it out with nitrogen,haven't got bit yet.

You'll have to have a head pressure control on that condenser fan with that kind of ambient temp.

If it's on the 3/8" liquid line with the arrow pointing away from the condenser it's right.
If it's on the 3/4" line it's not a liquid line drier.

It needs a "P" trap or you have a long run of drain line and it has a sag in it (double trapped) or the run is so long you need a "T" after the "P" to break the vacuum.
