    Yup, for the indoor coil. On heat pumps, outdoor piston is factory installed, but still ship with correct indoor pistons.

    Exactly.... psig is just that - Gauge pressure, but psia takes into account atmospheric pressure... I think the standard atmospheric pressure is 15 psi, unless you're at a higher elevation.
