I have a air cooled trane , rtaa model. The chw pump is on a trane tr1 model danfoss vfd. The pump is as i describe "surging" the running frequency is quickly ramping up and down constatnly...

Digo its weird bc when you look online, the picture they show is a 90 degree angle piece of metal. Doesn't look anything like the slot on the actuator where your supposed to insert.

There are vav's down the line.
Read the.thread, I ran a test,..... ahu fan off , unplug 24vac to mp581 ( represent a power loss)...

Can see alarm from remote desktop workstation, reset from same place.
Alarm locks out s/s from starting ahu. Then when reset s/s.energized to start ahu.
Alarm reads.... High static.alarm
Ahu fan...

I have a mp581 trane ddc panel, upon power loss to the board, The ddc alarms a high static and locks out.
I ran a test. All I did was unplug the power to the mp581(24volt). Indoor fan shut down...

Got the static #s
Inlet at fan...... -1.85
Return plenum at filters........ -0.33
Dis duct.............................+0.15
