sorry, I'm not familiar with Tridium Lon
Check the snvt type in the device, I'm assuming it should be snvt flow.
Compare it to a know good device to be sure.
Maybe try changing the snvt to...
I seem to remember something similar where the snvt type got changed in the device and didn't match the LNS database.
Might try reloading resource files....
I just started working with some Carrier CCN stuff and the existing programming/controls are actually quite involved and flexible. There is certainly a ton of engineering that went into the factory...
Call these guys.
They do retrofit stuff.
This may or may not work?
Give them a call, great folks to work with.
No you do not need to be a dealer.
Just give them a call. http://www.loytec.com/about/contact
You should look at the Loytec Bacnet products. I'm guessing a LINX201 server or maybe one of the LIOB Bacnet controllers would take care of your needs.
I just completed a week long training for...
If you run smart installer you should also be able to upgrade lonwatcher (for free)
And I do believe it will tell you what plug ins are installed and what needs to be updated.
You will still need...
Sounds like the plug in is not registered for the device.
You could also run Distech SmartInstaller and it should tell you if there is updates available.
You would still need to register the plug...

Double check the...
Really dude FT-10!!
Lonworks is a well defined standard. If you follow the rules it works.
Sorry to kind of hijack but I'm curious and I'm sure others will chime in,
but what is the advantage to what the customer wants, is there some mechanical improvements going on or do they just want...
Do they have them in BACnet:grin2:
I am partial to the Circon VAV controllers.
but all their ASC controllers are worth a look.
And now they have a graphical programming tool for their big programmable UHC400.
And if you do LON...
Circon is not out of business.
Give them a call.
Ask for Mike in Tech support.
I did the exact thing you are talking about 4 years ago and things turned okay for me.
I had zero controls experience going in.
But....you better be willing to put in some long and unpaid hours....
I did speak some more with Daryl from Loytec concerning this post and because I don't have any experience with BACnet.
He said they put the wireshark tool into the LVIS precisely because...
You should look at the Loytec LIOB Controllers
IP based controller with ability to expand with additional IO.
BACnet or Lon,...
I've been told a this is a nice unit.
Concerning past Bacnet issues I can't say for sure if they are resolved but I bet they are or will be soon. I know Loytec has invested a lot of effort into their Bacnet line of products.
I'll see if I can get my propaganda updated.
