in dc, the union scale is just under 37$ and the non union techs ive met one guy who made over 30$, but the normal for a non union tech is 25 for journeyman level.

i make well over that even after taxes. here in dc scale is 37$ per hr, so thats rufly 75 k, so with over scale and overtime. it easy to get to 100k around here if your willing to work the hrs
