Thank you for the update.
Thanks for more information. I'll keep that in mind.
We blow 2 (two) circuit breakers and that is one of the reason we are planning to replace the compressor.
The unit continues to run the next day (August 8, 2013) Thursday. My co-worker tries to MEGS it again and now the current reading is 100,000 ohm. So we are planning of changing the...
I don't have one. But the company that I work for has one. I don't use it on a regular basis so I kept forgetting what is a good reading. I asked my co-worker and their response varies.
On one of our site our customer energy bill rate was base on the highest current draw. Even though the "spike" is only a milli second their rate will be base on that. That is the reason we...
What is your suction pressure? 8 deg F superheat works most of the time for me.
Do you use the WebCtrl software?
That is cool
I worked at the county jail also. One of the reason we cannot served at the Jury. We might ended up seeing each other at the jail :grin2:.
And you told us it held the 200#.
If the unit fails the service and parts are readily available within the area.
Did you do the repair yourself? I know that another tech condemned the compressor. And did you get the exact replacement?
What are the actual pressures? Actual superheat and subcooling temperature and room temperature?
Nice trick :patriot:.
That sounds a big leak loosing 1/2 the charge in a day
And it holds? And no dye present anywhere? Don't know what to suggest but I'll be watching the post to learn something :couchhide:

For your effort.
There are a lot of possibilities why your system is not working.
How many return grills do you have. Check if it is obstructed.
Go smaller. When it's -2 deg F outside the thermostat might not satisfy the setpoint at 72 deg F but will continue to run with a room temperature of 68 or 70 deg F which is still a comfortable zone....
can you move this to the "control forum"?
Turn the disconnect OFF or turn the thermostat OFF to prevent damage to the compressor if it still good. It sounds like a bad condenser fan.
We have both system. Tracer and Continuum. I like both system but I like Continuum more.
The disadvantage of Continuum is that it CANNOT talk to INTELLIPAK or other TRANE units. That is one of...
So for your own SAFETY buy an electric fan :patriot:
