Around here the wires come out the BACK of the breaker panel. They are in a wallboard 'tunnel' 6" x 14" which runs the length of the garage and into the house.

HVAC-calc came up with the numbers I used except 80 degrees outside design temp in summer is too low. At 80 degrees I don't need a/c at all so why would I design for that? So I upped it. Average...
