With 5 degrees superheat it sounds like it's slighty overcharged. If it's an older unit it could be a week compressor. How long is the line set? Also is it r22 or r410a?

Do you think the fan was going on and off intermittently? I dont think it was the control board but wasn't sure. Its hard to determine the cause of a problem when the customer has had the system off...
