I think the larger blowers on that furnace had a factory installed "power choke" on the blower motor

Not to be nitpicky, but that looks like a g61 which is 2 stage, not modulating. It may have a variable speed blower in it though.

That panels feed is way undersized as well

Just googled a couple charts, and 3/4 copper will get you 180-192k on a run of 30 feet or less at low pressure... Don't forget to figure in all your fittings...

Not familiar with that furnace, but isn't that a condensing furnace? Looks like the intake is right under the evap drain line...

how would it fly up? With the airflow blowing upwards it would want to suck down into the cabinet, not fly upwards, unless it somehow flipped over while it was running...

Id remote the condenser personally and skip the water cooled... Seems like these days we're all about conserving water, especially here in the Midwest, having a case go through all that water just...

Oh yeah!! Figure about a 1 degree per hour rise... A guy I know had a 400k btu on his 30k gal pool, racked up a $500 gas bill in 2 weeks heating the pool up. No solar blanket at the time.
