I’m using this standard formula for calculating soar heat gain BTU
qsol = A•SHGC•I
where : qsol –solar gain – [BTU/day]
A- area in - [sf]
SHGC – solar...
Thank you very much for your help,
yes i will try to ask something harder next time
Good morning HVAC Engineers
Thank you for being here for us, beginners
I have a building, it has a drop-down ceiling, and in that area the HVAC supply ducts are disconnected, so the air doesn't...
What software a re you using, ?
is it free ?
Thank you !
I agree, when i calculated the my Q - air flow , i took in consideration the stack affect, and wind effect.
where A - area of the leakage
C- flow coefficient
ΔP - pressure difference...
i used this sensible heat equation : qs = QρcpΔt
qs = sensible heat load, W
Q = airflow rate, m3/s
ρ = air density, kg/m3 (about 1.2 at or near sea level)
cp = specific heat of air, J/(kg·K)...
What CFM do you mean ? Q is my CFM , or if i dived by volume and * by 60 is going to be ACH,
and instead of delta T, i used HDD and CDD, and is 0.018 heat capacity of air
interesting !? i...
i'm doing a project about energy losses in a building through the envelope, infiltration mostly ,
I did some calculation and I'm not sure if i did them right, and if i took everything...
