Wasn't bad, but, definitely felt heavier. Felt solid. Size is comparable to the G5. Not exact dimms, but, approx the same volume.
I'm not against it. Just really need to see the long term...
Because, anyone that is concerned with how long it takes to recover that much, will be using those hoses.
And you're right, 3/8 hoses are nothing special.
I have the coil.
I was jacking...
On the MCHX coils, it's not just "exposure". It's vibration, and corrosion as well.
The MCHX is a great idea. In the machine, less refrigerant needed, more efficient transfer of heat. Blah blah....
Yeah, microchannel on the Inficon? With all the luck those MCHXs are having out there, then, toss it in your van, get banged around, chemicals. Etc.
Nope. I don't use a little one much, but,...
If you think Craftsman is "top dollar", stay away from the SnapOn, Mac, and Matco trucks...

True story. Forgot about that.
As I believe I mentioned before, the Navy is where I became loyal to Fluke. Never looked back.

Makes total sense.
Used to work on/take care of a unit, that was used to cool down a product after packaging. Direct cooling of water, using flooded evap, and surge drums.
Pretty sure it was...
I had a truck with refrigerant rack integrated into the ladder rack. Rod went through the front open area for securing/locking. I'll try to find a pic.
I liked the set-up. Would've liked more...
Guess that tooth wasn't so wiggly huh?

In defense of your device, the torn wires was my fault. I didn't notice the nut came off the back, and spun the plug.
It only broke 1 wire initially, then, when I was messing with it, the rest...
Look, I don't use my manifold often. Really don't. Most of the machines I work on, have their own transducers. The manifold gets pulled out to check accuracy of sensors.
My cannon plug spun, and...
Which McQuay are you working with?
Are you hung up on Bitzer? Or, open to other brands/models?
Which features/qualities are most important?
What lengths are you willing to go to, to...
I had the same one in my van for 3 years. Used to get used A LOT. Passed it to someone else. I had one battery stop taking a charge, and went through a few chargers.
Only other thing I ever...
Okay. As far as tonnage. That was just a number. Not derived from your numbers. Again, I'm not an engineer.
If it isn't process, is it comfort?
How would the chill water reach 45c, unless...
Okay, so, to be clear, your heating your process water to 50-40c, then dumping it into the tank, to chill to 4c?
Is the process capable of a semi-constant temp?
Say for instance, you maintain...
FWIW, need a lot more information on this.
Otherwise, call CCS, and get a P&A.

I used the DL389TRMS.
It worked well. Was a good meter. No complaints.

True. Anything can fail. One of the reasons I carry multiple meters.
Ever tested something, and it just didn't seem right?
Grab another meter, and double check.....

I have 3 Fluke meters,
117(spare, keep at the house)
87V, in my tool kit
1587, stays in the van unless I'm going to use it.
I've had other brands.
I have nothing against FP, UEi, etc.

Copper is also anti-microbial. So, it's cleaner, should reduce/prevent mold/mildew growth.

Yep, that's what I came up with as well.

Try that... Typo'd last night.

Yes, the oil back pressure valve. I found it. Tell the Counter person, under coil and piping, the drawings give a pretty decent representation.
It's the open section, I don't know if we can...
Should've refreshed before I asked...

Now, THIS I would be onboard in a heartbeat if the price was right.
However, this is the tests thread.
I've been toying with grabbing 1 or 2. Though, I'm only looking for pressure.

I don't think any of the major players will stop looking into new things. There is always something being tested, abused, in a lab somewhere.
Things are going to start getting more interesting in...

Post complete model number and log please.

Ice building on the compressor, means nothing... Especially at your operating temp. Even with 10f of superheat, you return gas temp is still -20 @ 5psi(based on -30 suction). You will have ice...
After reading your initial post again.....
I have a few questions..
Are all these evaps in the same box? Or different boxes?
Is it a stable load? Or does it swing?
Any CPRs and/or EPRs?
That is true. But, when I did anything critical, I didn't bother re-using gas. Always fresh.
There is always the old Promax fall back machine.

You need to know what the compressor is rated for at your operating conditions.
You need to know what the equipment is rated at your operating conditions.
12000btu is 1ton. But, power required...
Discharge superheat set-point default is 22f.
If discharge superheat gets too low, it'll start to unload to bring it up.

I'd be interested overall accuracy between 30 and 110f, across pressure range, and compare that to a typical bourdon tube gauge.

I see....
Well, I stand by my thoughts.
I think sales based service is bad for the industry.
Never had any personal dealings with the company. Just you know, with Lennox NAS on the side...
I hope not...
Next thing you know, the "Big Three" will start farming out the work...
Oh wait... No they won't...

No OEM should ever resort to service sales numbers. It only degrades the value of the unit. It just doesn't make sense.
On the street, I have never heard anything good about NAS, from customers,...
For what it's worth. Just had one of my original M12 batteries give up the ghost on me yesterday... Can't remember 08 or 09. Either way... Anything over 5 years on a battery is gravy...

Again, in my case that won't be an issue. I will be in sight, in REACH of the unit.
If they're small, and reasonably accurate, I'll be happy... Especially for $54/ea.
I don't use a manifold...
Brent, I agree with this 100%.
As with any tool, it'll have advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantages are a non-issue in my case. In fact, I have no desire to even mess with the temp...
Hmmmm..... I'd be interested in trying out a pair, or trio of these, if only for checking accuracy of existing pressure sensors in machines.
A much as I want the iConnect, I just won't get the...
124 is a replacement for 114.
No specific mention of it on the quick guidelines. 141b, 142b, and 22 are mentioned several times...
All HCFCs will be phased out in 2030.

You know, I agree.
However, all my stuff came with the standard batteries. And I've only replaced 1 of each in all the time I've had them. Of course went with the XC.

If you're doing ductwork,the M18.
I keep the new 2speed fuel impact in my tool bag.
It does plenty, running the large battery, it goes a bit...
