did the tech check the breaker size? Alot of times when companys replace condensers they dont check breaker size. In my experience at least the breaker is less than what it should be not by much...

so whats the problem again? the condenser which operates at around 220, and is on a seperate breaker than the furnace is drawing high amps on second stage and instead of just tripping the breaker is...
if the condenser is turning on after blackout, you can have a time delay installed to the condenser. As far as the voltage to the furnace or air handler i believe it has a swing of like 10% so it...

if the refrigerant leaked once then it leaked twice maybe theres a leak. I could be wrong.
