does sounds like the remaining 22 inside the system is stuck...the elimation troubleshooting tree looks like one is crossed out on the RVS coil....as with other items you noted...seems to me the 22...

check ohms on the RVS.....it could easily just be the coil [so you wouldn't have to "open" the system otherwise...a shortcut....troubleshoot

Well a tool is different than an instrument... of course it is a loosely used term...I'll say a voltmeter with the ohms meter and all that is pretty neat stuff.. as far as tools goes i say all 8...
