To convert to N/G, all you do is change the spud, and you are good to go.

Those are some nice looking grills. I noticed that all the model numbers end with NG. Does this mean they are fueled by natural gas?

Was the pipe stored outside prior to install? It could be plugged from birdnest, or debris, and installers didn't notice an obstrution before they put it in.

Have their senior installer look at the installation before they do anything. Often times, the installer will go a little overboard with the 90 degree elbows, when a 45 degree would have worked. ...

Time to call a tech. He will have the right tools, and knowledge to find out whats going on. Could be a number of things that could be causing the problem.

Is motor getting hot? If so, time to call a tech and have it replaced.

In a new house, everything is out-gassing. Paint, carpet, floor finishes, etc.
That's what gives new houses and new cars that "new" smell.
