Well I can say that I use a lot less KW with my 2 stage system than the single system it repalced, along with getting the comfort! My useage is documented on my bill.

Why would anyone restrict a 2 stage system to running on the first stage only?

Being that your in Ohio not sure the cooling of the 19i would be beneficial if you compare purchase price to the time it would take to pay the difference between the 19i and 15i.

Not knowing which Trane themo you are replacing, some just have outside temp display capability. It was an option to buy the outside sensor to allow the thermo to display the outside temp!

My Trane users guide recommends the dishwasher. Dishwashers when used under normal mode dissenfect. So i don't think there is any issue about any disease.

I pull the cells, use Grease Lightning, let it sit. Then rinse with a hose. Do agian if it need it. Let the cells sun dry. Works great. Grease Lightning cuts grease very well.
