I did a little reading and found after version 1.1.3 the files cannot be changed. The java jar files are signed so they cannot be modified.
Looks like the .gif's are located here, I have not tried it, good luck.
I've tried it and quickly went back to the standard DX commissioning tool. It's neat to see everything switching, but if your tagging all your logic the standard tool does the job.
