Did you recieve the info?
I need your email address.
I have info. What do you need?
I would get a second opinion. There is a reason that there a burn marks on the furnace, not "that it's been like that and it will be ok as long as you don't run the heat at 80 for a long time"....
Poor craftsmanship!!!! Did the contractor/auditor find any other problems?
Check your mail.:patriot:
Check your incoming water pressure. You may need a pressure regulator before the humidifier. I've seen this problem in the past.
What system will you be using?
What control do you have on the VAV boxes, are they trane UCM controllers?
The tracpipe certification was a joke. I think my seven year old could get his. Certified or not certified this install reeks of Jack Leg Heating and Cooling.
Twenty minutes till beerthirty!!!!:couch:
I would first begin with checking the resistance values for the temp sensors in question against what they are supposed to be.
Personally I would have heat pumps checked out twice a year, once in the spring once in the fall. As far as a contract is concerned you might save some money by signing up for one, discounted labor...
One of the techs I work with had this done to both knees over a year ago. He said he can't believe the difference. He does take it easier on his knees now ie: knee pads, not jumping down off the...
With out looking at what you have we can only speculate, but I would suggest that the supply to the radiators should have been parallel instead of in series. The majority of the heat from the water...
This seem to be problem with heat pumps in the southern states. Coil cleaning alone will not solve the problem. Contact a contractor and have them look into installing UV lights at the evap coil.
The joints should be glued together. This furnace produces condensation as it operates, and drains out of the furnace. The drain is usually tied into the drain from the evap coil. The pipe does...
I can only imagine what the rest of the install looks like. You get what you pay for is all I can say.
I have found that this dirty sock problem rears its head during the defrost cycle. Coil cleaning alone does not solve the problem. We generally install UV lights at the evap coil. This just treats...
We have worked with a couple of these hot yoga studios and found that the Honeywell T775 universal controller work great. It can be powered 24v and it allows you to set the temp to 105 or 110.
This may have already been covered, but gooman has been having problems with their rev. valves. There should be a service release concerning the problems.
What is that a moonshine still?
I would personally say the Carrier system. That may be biased as we are a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer. One thing about the Lennox is they do have reliable equipment, but try and get parts or...
Your right. I've seen them mounted just about any position execpt upside down.
It is time to find a new HVAC company. Two compressors in less than a year?
A zone system may not be out of the question, unless the duct is unaccessable. If you have access the zone system can be a easy retrofit. Honeywell should have a list of contractors that can advise...
A multi speed fan usually operates on only two speeds, one for cooling and one for heating. A varible speed fan starts off at a slow speed, then over a period of time begins to ramp up. At then end...
Talk to the instructor at your school, he may have a line on a good company. Also about the time you should finish the spring season will be starting and most companies do their hiring for the up...
Have you considered a zoned system or is that not possible? Zoned systems do a great job redistributing the air around your house as the load changes. If the system is properly sized this may be...
You are right the humidity outside during the colder months is lower. It seems to me that your windows could be the suspect, you did say that they were single pane. You should see what the humidity...
Look into a hybrid or duel fuel setup. This uses a combo heat pump and gas furnace. The heat pump does the heating down to a preset outdoor air temp, usually around 35 to 40 degrees. After that...
They seem legit enough from their web site. Try a google search, you should find all the info you need.
