Thanks
I've wanted to try an air dryer. Like the ones used for a pnematic system.
Can anyone send me the parts breakdown for the ys style d. I have style abc, e.
I need to order some valves and oil fittings for a style D machine.
Thanks
Doug, the ak900 is the best gauges I have owned. The customer service from you and Brenda went above and beyond. I hope you a speedy recovery.
I know right, totally someone elses fault.
Multiple failures are likely to repeat unless the underlying cause is found.
I'd start with superheat, water flow, approach, and the crankcase heater. Discharge superheat can be a better...
I've done some reading as you requested and found that both regular sheet metal pointed screws and the one pictured above are called self tapping.
648571
Obviously a semantic issue, here is a pic of a self tapping drilling screw from my truck.
The only self tapping screws I've used in my hvac career are also self drilling. Do you carry screws on your truck that are self tapping but, cannot be used to drill into pvc?
lol, overreact much.
Do you know what a self tapping screw is?
This is perfectly normal and acceptable.
Thats when you change to 300 oil.
:)
besides the in and out being reversed, thats a hell of a swing.
I'd fix it.
That doesn't sound like what the customer wants a bid on. They want to pay after hours service call labor monthly and upfront.
Budget friendly for the management and kinda like a retainer for...
Whats the total tonnage of all the equipment? estimate
your 1st post adds up to a total of 88 units.
Also some cutomers will try to buy there own parts to cut out your markup. Then use your...
make sure vandalism related labor and parts are not covered. Are they wanting full coverage for parts also?
Haven't seen slow in a few years, I'm in a perpetual state of catchup. I know a repair or fix is not pressing when its been on my to-do list for a few months.
I'm commercial though.
Nah,
I think it's bubcool and dewperheat.
just eyeball it and g-flat
:)
You cannot do that if they are on seperate circuits.
You said two circuits each, the hot gas coils are piped together on that diagram. The whole thing looks kjnda funky see if you can get the installation manual for the unit, it should have piping...
a drawing of how the pumps, pipes, bypass valve, and chiller are connected and a side profile of the different heights of each would help.
I've had success elimating vapor locking on bypass loops...
rodents of unusual size, I dont believe they exist.
lol, nothing to see here. keep moving.
Poodle,
I've always wondered about those numbers. Is it truely energy savings or is energy that could have been transfered?
if i have a 20 hp motor (15kw) operating at nameplate amps and only...
Neither way is wrong, we all work on different systems of different sizes and different bells and whistles. If you feel like putting gauges on everything go ahead, not saying thats wrong.
I know...
Did it have a hail gaurd/security panel? Are some of the leaks from physical damage?
Edit:
I'm asking because I've been trying to get our company to order hail gaurds for all our client's...
During pms I'll put gauges on a new customer or anything that seems off.
If its working fine and line temps feel good I'll leave the gauges off. WSHP and critically charged units will get the...
Sized the same as anything else. No duct loss though.
I hope my response to R123 did not sound mad.
Just trying to point out that every task we preform has potential hazards. We need to identify them and find a safe way to preform our work.
Well attach some test leads with it tagged out then test it from your preferred location with the cover on. You are responsible for identifying potential hazards and taking steps to minimize them. If...
Assuming you ran it without the tandem compressor, we try not to assume cause we might as well be across the world from the problem. The only info we have is what you give us.
I still wouldn't say...
In short, someone "should" already know what the limiting factor/bottle neck is.
You need a tech to find out what part of the system is limiting the cooling capacity
Is it the tonnage of the ahu's?
Is it a duct design issue?
Is it a fresh air issue?
Is the chill water be...
Chill water is like anything else, It will depend on how the system was designed and sized.
Everything could working properly, and the rooms still not be able to cool below 72 during the hottest...
umm, that stinks
Is the license cost for the software per laptop or per company account?
I'm wondering if it can be installed on more than one laptop once you pay for it.
Thanks
Seasons four could not find the backup of the original programming for this job. He said it was most likey due to the age. The programing and password could have been changed this summer or more...
The gauges are rock soild and reliable. I had a door slammed on mine during a storm.
I sent digi an email asking how I could order a blue knob and Brenda sent me a new knob at no cost to me and...
I talked to seasons 4. They say I have tried all the official passwords. Looks like an automated logic contractor got into the controller and changed some stuff.
Ten four, ill give them a shot when i get back on site . I think a controls contractor changed the password though. When I went to training with seasons four 1111 as admin was what I was told the the...
I have a bacview 2 zone controller for a four seasons that I cannot log into as an admin. I have tried 1111 and 4321 and everything else i can think of. 0001 is getting me in as a user. Is there a...
Doesn't take very long either.
It will overheat and melt/burn up. Senior tech is right on this one.
cool
Just to be clear,
Your problem is the unit running 3/4 of the time, maintaining temp setpoint, and keeping between 48% and 52% humidity?
I definitely don't disagree. I blame the seer rating system and not the installer.
Sounds like person preference, I wouldn't fault the installer on the basis that you consider his matched system mismatched.
I do get your reasoning though. If the blower speed is slowed for first...
Thanks, looks like they came up with the software upgrade + kit solution after SMB010022.
I used a relay with bificated contacts for my fix. If I have anymore problems down the road, I'll add...
The info I had is the same as what moideen attached.
Anyway, I just got some relays from grainger with contacts that are spec'd for low voltage and current.
No problems since.
