Change t-stat to 1 heat 1 cool (heat pump)
I heard that Trane are over controlled, Rheem doesn't
have enough controls in some heat pumps, Goodman aren't installed properly (unless done right), and Carrier are not tech friendly.
4 more posts and I might have an opinion.
I usually add 20.00 (case of beer) to each violation.
If replaced motor pulled 1.2 amps and the replacement draws 2.2, and is within fla, what problem will occur if it is the same rpm?
Shouldn't the suction line filter be replaced within 24 hours of the initial installation of said filter?
all companies are telling me that they will convert to 7/8" piping as much as possible outside of the house so that it will pass code, etc. They all say that this is totally normal for pre-existing...
No advice, but, if I had it installed it in an attic, I would have placed a full drain pan underneath the entire unit and installed a float switch in the pan, so that if it filled it would shut off...
27k on low is great. I would go with the two stage.
Possibly, low freon caused the coil to freeze up, which resulted in ice melting in the wrong designated location.
FYI, the filters don't protect the orifice in a smart valve which can only accommmodate .022 or bigger.

Does anyone make an in-line filter for pilot tubing? Having problems with pilot orifice constantly clogging up.
