Is your contractor using a variable speed unit, also what type duct system is he installing?
I have not heard of that brand where are you located and who is the parent company?
I wondered where my mother in law ran off too.
Well Heck it looks good from my house! LOL
first of all, shut the power off to the unit, have your friend turn the thermostat to cool while you stand out side, you should hear the reversing valve click, if not it is probably stuck in the...
I think you did an ok job with what you had to work with. I do think a little more time spent on detail would be a great asset to your company and the looks of your installations.
Pad support was a great idea, my only question is what keeps the unit in place? Did you secure it and with what and how?
Just wanted some input on these units. I have installed two or three and I am acctually impressed. Was thinking of installing one in my own home. Any thoughts, trouble spots, or things to look out...
Could be worse I guess, they could have used flex.
Someone was smokin somethin funny on this install
Bet ya the customer never changed the filter
All i can say is I have seen it all now!
First I would ck the polarity of your power supply. That can make those units do some really hinky things.
Have to love those Jani-Junks great for Job security! Thank you Goodman industrys!
I think I would have at least found out what company it was so I could inform the owner of what I found. Sometimes owners do not know what kind of work thier guys are doing unless someone tells them....
Great Sales tool thanks. Got to love those Rheems!
From Northern Indiana here, mostly see these applications in high crime areas. They probably have had some condencers come up missing. Crack heads love copper coils.
I have seen it before, acctually worked for a company here in Indiana that did all of thier duct jobs that way. When I refused, I was fired. no great loss in my oppinion.
Well momma always told me if I cant say something nice, say nothing at all. So I will say this. At least they removed the old unit.
