on this control has plug to check the flame signal .Is there a way of checking with standard electric meter .Honeywell has a meter with adapter ,looked at wiring looks like i can put meter in series with f terminal .Boiler locks out ,going to check flame signal and uv peeper.
You can only wire a meter in series with the 'F' terminal when using flame rectification (flame rod), on a UV peeper the signal measured at the plug in test jack is conditioned. Best way to test them from my experience is to hold a cigarette lighter in front of the peeper with it removed from the burner (boiler off but power to L1 of R7795) the mini peeper tube will glow when a flame is sensed and the Flame LED on the R7795 will also light up. The preffered way is obviously with a test jack but I lost mine years ago.
thanks .I also had one w136a I think .
