Field experience with 2-Stage Thermo Pride OH6
Any field experience with the Thermo Pride 2-Stage OH6 oil furnace, with the ECM and 2-Stage Riello oil burner? I'm looking at the Low capacity version, with outputs of 61,500 & 74,00 BTU. Seeing how I have a small house 700 sq ft in cold country (Alaska) I like the idea of being able to throttle down the burner to limit the freeze/fry heating.
How has this unit worked out in the field? Is it temperamental? Is it much more difficult for the tech to deal with when compared to a single stage Beckett? Is it too new to know long term durability?
