Required post count to apply for 'Pro' is 15... If you are a business owner, at 25 posts you can apply for Business and Marketing status. There is a lot of good stuff in B&M.
When you get through the 'Pro' door, you will see what this site is really about!!!! The material in the public section is only a teaser compared to the material in Pro. And yes, it does take a few weeks to process the application for Pro, so be patient.
