At what temp. do the fusable plugs melt on an acetylene cylinder?
Fusable plugs????
Acetylene cylinders have plugs(fusible plugs) in the top and bottom of the cylinder and melt at a specific tempurature for safety reasons. What is the tempurature?
A million degrees......who cares, if it melts you will be dead anyway.

I think he should put his tank in the oven and slowly raise up the temp. He can record it in a book, when ya find the book after the explosion, whatever the last recorded temp was in there will be pretty close.
