I have gone into my own business after 14 years and now I have to get certain certificates like the L.L.E., Nate certification, and the like. I have been studying a Nate Exam prep book and it has over 100 pages of tests to prepare you for the test and to my best knowledge there are only 50 core questions and 100 specialty questions. Does anyone here that has took the NATE test care to tell me what to expect on the core? My specialty will be on Heat Pumps Service so I definitely will be prepared for that one but I think I am trying to retain to much info for the Core Test. I figure the Core test will be on motors, compressors, evaporators, condensors, safety and basic electrical.
Is the test really as difficult as people say it is?
Thanks for any comments.
