heatmaster log problem
I am working on a set of logs that i can get the pilot to light but when i try to turn on to burners it cuts completly down. Shuts pilot off, i can hear the valve. It has a thermocouple and thermopile, thermocouple working because pilot will hold. Thermopile seems to check out but could be bad. I just do not think if it was thermopile it would cut pilot off.

What happens to the pilot when you turn on the main burner? Does it become instantly smaller? Is the pilot yellow and lazy, or blue and strong?

Forum rules prevent DIY advice here. However, I can suggest a comprehensive approach to service including inlet gas pressures conducted by a qualified technician. If your piping is undersized, it would manifest in the way you describe.
