JP, I think most people think full auto ownership is not possible because of the government's alien-style probing and the license fee, not to mention the cost of the weapon alone. It puts them out of the reach of everyone but the most devoted citizen.

I agree.. "Legal" but might as well be illegal. In any case it's expensive to buy, expensive to shoot. Even at semiauto rate of fire I have to budget my ammo.. While Czech/Romanian 7.62x39 milsurp is cheap enough that even reloaders buy it just for the projectiles/powder, if I got a poodle shooter, I'd have to buy a reloading kit, materials and some brass in order to afford to shoot it on semi-auto.. Wow you guys are getting more snow than us here.. We had a dusting of maybe a cm and then it melted within hours. Now it's a bit chilly, just over -4 (probably 25F range, quick and dirty calc), but no snow yet and hoping for none until I'm back from the range
