The one I always liked was 'I just f--ing put power to it....anything else is not my problem'....then you find out they couldn't read the nameplate and undersized the conductor....and aren't on 24 hour service...:eek2:

Called him at 2ish yesterday. Hey, this breaker you all put in won't hold for more than 5 minutes and it's running about 125 degrees surface temp in a 55 degree room with all the covers off the panel and a fan running on it. I'm keeping the amperage under 70% of rating and it still trips.
Sparky's answer. I can be there by 7 or 7:30.
