Seeking advice on furnace & AC replacement

Its considered by some a cheap subsitute.

I have duct board in my house, and it may be an unusual situation, but the duct board has mold growing on it while the metal does not.

You have a moisture problem.

The mold is the symptom of the moisture problem.(not caused by the duct board.)

Correct, but if I had all metal, I would not have so much mold.

No. I put in a new system that is taking care of the moisture, but now I'm faced with the need to replace all that ductwork. It may cost almost as much to replace as the new system.
