Suction and Discharge Lines in the ground!!
I serviced a 5 ton split unit that was about 10 years old. The suction line and liquid line out of the house to the condensor runs into the ground and then using three 90 degree fittingsthey lines curl around and connect to the compressor. The air handler is in the attic and is all the way on the other side of the house.
Why would someone install those lines like that?
I'm thinking of removing those bends and reconnecting with a gentle bend both those lines.
Anyone have any thoughts on this subject.
