Universal controller from Carrier
We just had our local Carrier salesman out and he was telling us about the 1600 and the universal controller. Does anybody have any experience or anything good/bad to say about it? It sounds pretty good to put in smaller commercial buildings so that we don't have to rely on JCI. Which would make me happy. Is it hard to program? I have a job in mind that I would like to use it for, could I go in blind and wing it? The salesman of course said that it was no problem but that is what he gets paid to say.

I asked around, and some told me that the universal controller can only be fully controlled through NST V. version 2.0, and some told me that I can access the universal controller to command (on/off) using older software, in other words, some what backward compatible, and that, I just don't know how to use it. I didn't know who to turn to for definite answers, and I would appreciate it, if you can give me some support here.
