Actually, Hawaii is a "MAY issue" state as are most "anti-gun" states.

DC is the only other place where CC is prohibited.

I have a friend who lives there... transplanted from Alaska.

Guy left his guns with someone... cause he was told they would be confiscated when they hit the shores.

As in Chicago: In Hawaii if you are govt or important... you get all the firearm protection you want. If you are common folk... you are denied the right to protect yourself.

Should never have let Hawaii become a state. There was a lot of opposition to statehood. It was blocked for many years by conservative Southern Democrats because of the far left politicians in Hawaii.

The territorial "Democratic"Party (a coalition of liberal Democrats, radical labor unions and the Communist Party of Hawaii) were the delegates to Congress. LBJ at the time led the opposition (then overnight he turned and became a socialist). Shame they lost that battle.

They saw that Hawaii was in the pocket of leftest labor unions and the Communist Party had a strong presence there. Thank you, thank you very much

The only thing you can do about it is to be prepared. Have a defensive tool of your own, throw them the bird and have at it. Your chances of dieing in a car are 17 time higher than dieing from a GSW (gun shot wound)

Just looked up the statistics on firearm murder rates by state. Seems Hawaii is ten to twenty times lower than the rest of the country.

And I was thinking that being gun free there would be a rampant amount of drive-by shootings, home invasions, rapes, robberies, car jackings and tourist hold-ups. Without guns they should be worse than Juarez, MX.

How can they keep crime down without everyone carrying a deadly weapon under their jacket? How can people sleep at night? Do they all have bars on their windows? Maybe Neighborhood Watch on every corner or ten times the police presence?

Thats because its all the ccw crowd has done on this thread.... Ive not seen anyone come forth and say that it isnt all ccw permits slowing down crime.. all I have seen it is ccw is the only reason to bring down crime.
