I use a 5 ton water cooled condenser on mine at times, tanks never get hot.
Just ask freightshaker ,he dropped my G5 15 feet, bounced like a basketball ,and is still going strong 6months later :grin2:
Its a testament to its durability , we all know it pumps pretty damn good.that model has been my favorite for awhile now .
I got a small refrigeration unit condenser with 3/8" tubing in the coil. I hook up that coil in between the outlet of the G5 and the inlet of the tank and put the coil in front of the G5. The unit blows enough air through the coil to keep the pressures down.
I've used it during the summer with good results.
I have a coaxial rig also. A ton and a half. Don't need much water flow either. Major subcooling and recovery speed increase. Goes between recovery outlet and cylinder inlet.
This is what I made instead of a coax it very light.

That is nice Dallas, if you had a lot of rooftop recovery, it would be a good choice.
Mine was salvaged with no expense though :)
Dallas how did you attach the fittings to that plate? I didn't see any threads etc.
I would like to see the Appion in action. I have only used YJ Machines, I like the older ones more then the newer ones that cut out before its done..
