it is the employers who earn there living off the backs of others not the other way around
without employees you have no company and if you operate it by yourself you are an worker first and a owner second
i have met many people who have inherited companies and would not have a clue how to service any of their clients needs but have the attitude that their employees owe them when actually the owners should be greatful for them
That is interesting. I know that in California (I thought it was nationwide), if you call an ex-employer of a potential new hire, all they could say is whether you worked there or not. I may be wrong on this and hopefully someone will correct me if I am.
The can not say if you were a good or bad worker or if you were late a lot. Only that you had worked there and for how long.
