Yeah it's funny how manitowoc used to advise you to coil the excess length up, and now they advise to cut to length. I personally like to cut to length, it just looks better.

So when you cut the precharged line do you recover the refrigerant ? :whistle:
I did a Fujitsu 2 head unit a while back and Distructions had a minimum length like 15ft or so. Had one of the wall units right on the other side of the wall had to stuff 10ft between the outdoor unit and the wall. Looked a lil better then That
On the first multizone Fujitsu I installed 3 years ago, I didn't see that part of the manual and installed one indoor unit with a 8 foot line. It works fine.Quote:
