First on these new furnaces I have laid horizontal. Forgot to order the grommet for the drain trap..oops.
Around 6" of room above the false ceiling. Don't really care for the line set.
I did go back and glue some padding on the ends of the strut!

Float switch on the secondary drain would be nice also

why on earth do guys install the drier inside.... it looks bad...... put it outside.. ..
i forgot to mention...... looks like great work...well done

Nice clean install man. The sheet metal, line set and the rest looks great!
For what it's worth, I was always taught to put the liquid drier near the coil as well. Maybe it makes no difference, who knows, I'm getting old and taught by old timers lol. for what it's worth, I don't think it hurts the look of the install.

We put the drier in front of the meter too. It does not look bad at all.
Gotta say a very unique install but beautifully done.
Hadn't laid one horizontal and pulled return in the side, or the bottom now. Only thing that would work and still be able to get the water heater out of that corner.
Drier inside. Never rusts. Closer to txv...

Very clean install. If the drier isnt internal to the unit I place them near the evaporator as well. Alot of us have started doing it.
You need a float switch in the auxillary and/or an emergency drain pan under that coil.
