Need help, I need to renew my license and I haven't been able to find answers to my review question.
1. what is the proper temperature setting of the furnace limit control.
2. what is the max. allowable pressure to be exerted on the inlet side of the oil pump, in pounds?
3. what is the max pressure at the oil nozzle?
4> what determines the firing rate of an oil burner?
5 what is the proper temp. setting of the furnace limit control?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
1 & 5 are the same, mfrs. spec
2 ???? On the inlet side????
3 What the mfr calls for. Oldies usually 100 psi, new ones much higher
4. Nozzle size and oil pressure

If you don`t know these answers...........I DON`T SEE HOW YOU GOT YOUR LICENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and you always knew all of the answers to any test you ever took. Wow! Went to school with a kid like that. When his mom didn't pick out his clothes, he had some real combinations....common sense he did not have either.
limits: most of those I see are preset at 200, is that the correct answer?
