You need to post the serial number
to determine the actual manufacturing date
of Rheem equipment
there are 3 sets of #'s to this furnace.......hate to post it on net,know what i mean?looked at this one last knight....it is standing pilot and natural draft..
would 88 be a possibility??...i have those 2 #'s in the second set...
It should be the 2nd or the 3rd set of numbers that show the serial nr. they should be preceded by a letter and then there would be 3 nrs..
example F388 is a 88 furnace
The RGLA model was made from 1983 to 1991 and had a 10 year heat exchanger warranty.

my second set would fit then,as it is Fo988....THANX,htg.guy.....i like the signature.
Just for reference the 0988 means the 9th week of 1988
