This is a pic of it.
Shoulda snagged it. I've had to replace a switch or two in mine and a start cap., but I use it a lot.
I've wasted $10.00 on a lot less.
Shoulda jumped on it. Simple electro mechanical system,
Was to fix. Boss still has his Annie.....uses it when ever.
I spent a lot more than that on mine when I bought it new. It still works reliably. Better than this new crap they are selling.
I still remember when I was a kid.I had both hands on each side of one of those things, starting a compressor,I got a big shock from one hand through my body to the other.OUCH!
I've always wondered what the point of having one is.
i have one tonight just pulled out of the garage my dad gave me from early 90's it's a annie a2, but doesn't have a gauge like that one and circuit breaker is in cord compartment, problem is it has 2 d battery's (Thats what the manual calls them)if you remove the faceplate and they are dead (these look like mini hard start kits, not d batteries, where would you get new ones? I will probably throw it away in the morning i guess. It looks cool though. Never saw my dad use it.
