YES! I am more than willing to disabuse someone who votes based on a mistaken view of reality that he gets from TV networks, small cable outlets, websites operated by the Huffington Post and their ilk, or union leadership.
And I am proud to do so. And I support the ideas of brilliant African Americans like Dr. Benjamin Carson. I am so thankful that men such as him are still willing to stand up and speak out.
The Act passed in 1970, when Obama was about 9, and his future political friends were still active domestic terrorists.
It was amended, as you said. But it could not have been amended if it was not already in force, and also true, some credit goes to the congress that amended it, and the President, George W. Bush, who signed it.
When Barack Obama was 42, he had not yet been elected to the US Senate, where he started voting "present." He avoided going on the record in the Senate, so no defining ideas would be permanently attached to him. This maintained his condition of being the "blank slate," upon which hopeful, uneducated millions could write their own ideas, and credit those ideas to him.
The point I hope to make is that a very large segment of the US population is unable to connect the Presidential leadership, or the lack thereof, to the conditions he creates, as he skillfully (I'll give him that) portrays himself as battling unseen forces which he blames for the current conditions.
He will be remembered as perhaps THE most skillful obfuscater of all US Presidents.
And, President Obama had NOTHING to do with our ability to get a free credit report every year.
