One thats sole purpose is to test motors insulation resistance on chillers. Like Megger MIT300.
Not a multifunction meter like fluke 1587.

it includes memory locations and a timer to use 'Polarization' type megging.
What's wrong with the 1587? That's what I have an it works great, it's just the 1507 with meter components built into it. Although it is incredibly expensive.Quote:

picked up an old one at yard sale today, an old simpson. opned up to put in battery and I think it uses a "B" battery.
