    Thanks,
how do you want to interface with it? laptop or a bms system laptop you could use field assistant. A CCN router that is by IP. But thats most useful when using I-VU Or for bacnet bms by mstp you would use a UPC-OPN with the program loaded for your chiller version.

    on main board?
If you order the part with the number on the board it will come blank. If you order the board with the model and serial of the equipment it should come programmed for your specific equipment.

Just exchange the board if they are going to charge you. Worse case this way is a 15% restock.

Thought that might be the case. Which sucks! Thanks Gibbo.

I'm afraid your stuck with having to use Carrier Service to download the software onto your EXV board service tool is not used for downloading software. The program used is Winloader and the EXV files are issued to Carrier Service only in OZ.

    Hi Bas,
Do the user manuals come with the Service Tool V kit? I bought the kit from the U.S a couple of years ago. Can connect to chillers to read operating data, but don't know how to do much more than that. For manual testing, I still go through the chiller controller.

NSTV is not going to download to an EXV driver board the only benefit you will have is to see the EXV maintenance tables. What type of chiller are you working on there?

I do not believe there is any specific training on Service Tool V. Do you have the users manual?
