In the IOM pages 125-126 there is a high side and low side repair procedure for getting refrigerant moved around where you need it. Good luck.

Changing the sensors on a TRANE RTAA screw chiller

I have a 70 Ton RTAA chiller and I need to replace the refrigerant temp sensors. I have the sensors, the question is, are the sensors in dry wells or are we pumping down and recovering refrigerant to replace them? The manual was great on troubleshooting but is a little weak on the rest. Any help would be appreciated.
