Minimate 2 units have web cards you can put in as well. Almost the same on the monitoring side as the advanced micro units.

Old thread but are the monitoring options the same?
I have a MMD12E7PREOD I would like to monitor and have some control via Modbus, seems to be the same card as the DS and System 3 units?

Can it take dry contacts? If so you could put a contact board in the AC and know about a problem before the room gets too hot.

Thanks for the ideas. Looking around I found a stand alone unit from Avtech (Room Alert 4E). It dosn't hook directly to the unit but, is able to monitor a number of different room conditions. I connects to the internet & phone and if there is a reason for alarm it can email, text, or place a phone call. I spoke with a rep and it sounds like this may work for my particular application. Has anyone else here used this product or something similar?

You need the 485/Web Network Card from Liebert. You can put it on your company network and assign an I.P to it for you to view each unit. It will send you email with Alarm notifications. I have installed many and they work great. Hook right in to the unit and you can pull the I.P and see what the unit is doing at any time with full web page display.

There is a factory ISWEB option that can do those things except the email portion, which is incoming in some future firmware update "soon"TM.

Liebert control Ideas

I have a Liebert Mini mate 2 that I would like to monitor. I am looking for something that will alarm if there is an issue with temp, humidity, or power failure. I would like to be able for this system to send an email, text, or phone call if there is an issue with this unit. Just wondering if anyone here can recommended something.
