Redlink will be one gateway for the whole house and there are extenders if its a really big house. The gateway communicates wirelessly with the stats and plugs into your router.
Thats what I wasn't sure about. Thanks for the info. Keep em coming
I know on the Carrier Infinity touch, Trane XL950, and Ecobee Smart SI - You can access multiple systems (thermostats) via one user name/login.
wi-fi stats I didn't want to hj the other thread. I have a customer that wants wi-fi stats. The heating is 5 zones of CI baseboard and 2 zones(1 system) of central air. So I would need 5 stats. I have installed the Honeywell, Ecobee and Nest(builder really wanted the Nest tried to talk him out of it). Does every stat get it's own web portal? I've only ever installed on single zone homes with hot water/ac or hot air/ac. My question is on the web access side, and the best one to use for this application. Looks to me like the ecobee si stat. Wouldn't have to pull wires to EIM then. I'd just have to land the common on the sr506 to power the three. The other two would be powered off of ac zone panel. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
