I don't know about you guys but, if I was fortunate enough to even played in a super bowl, was lucky enough to win it as well as be the MVP,I sure as hell would show up for a event like that on the NFL's dime. I'd milk it for all it's worth!

Those guys would be nowhere without the NFL. The NFL made them rich. They owed it to the fans and the teams on the field to be there.

If you are in the public arena you have to expect being beaten with a stick when anyone can get a little something on you.

Cripe I'm not even fameous (except around here) and I have 3 things I have to do on the same day in any given weekend. Ya can't be everywere!

They also had use of nice caddy for the weekend, very nice room, 1st class plane tics, 2 tics to the game, tics to brunch and other events as well as opportunities for speaking engagements where they would be paid appearance fees, so it wasn't the money.

Word out today was it wasn't the money, they had family things going on, Joe wanted to be at his kids BB game, Terry spent enough time away from home I guess. I can't blame anyone for that, my fam comes first too.

...although that would buy you quite a few lap-dances in Windsor...
