i have never used the nylog stuff til this week, working with my new employer. i think it's pretty good stuff and i too wonder what slob is out there getting it into the system it's a thread sealant, or at least, thats what we use it for.
I'd rather you tell me how to keep it out of systems. I have used thread sealers in the past and I usually find them in the systems afterwards.

Nothing to lose? There is always something to lose. A customer, maybe? I've worked on some OLD crap and have not resorted to that stuff. And I won't. If a customer asked about it, I would explain my position on it and the risks. If they were insistent, I would use it. It's their equipment after all. If they want to take that chance, and make an informed decision, then OK.
