410a is an azeotrope. Temp glide is almost nothing. .3 maybe? cant remember
When getting to the end of a bottle of 410A could there be fractionization in the bottle to the point that the liquid is one refrigerant and the vapour the other?

I reckon the only fractionization would be in the hose downstream of where your flashing. Very slight
I guess so any difference in volume of refrigerant entering thy system would be fairly small

That's why you don't charge as a gas.

I put a sight glass on the center port. Allows you to see the gas/liquid and adjust valve to charge direct from cylinder.
Using your gauges is faster. I had an imperial kwik-charge that I use to use but found the manifold was just easier.
Already got it so I might as well use it and try to compare using it with not. I want to see which is faster.
I know they are not expensive, but save the money. You accomplish the same thing by just opening you manifold slightly.
Yeah that's what I thought too. I didn't know the orifice came out so I will try to avoid turning it into a projectile weapon....
On the bottle. I still don't know if that little gizmo is any faster than just making it flash through the manifold. I had one until I did something stupid and used it to purge one of those seal-rite hoses in a pinch and sent the orifice flying. I hate those hoses. I suppose putting it on the manifold where the low side hose connects would also be a great spot.
fast charging on low side Hi I am just curious where you guys feel is the best place to put the orificed flare fitting that flashes the refrigerant from a liquid to a vapour when you are using a zeotrope nd want to charge by vapour as apposed to feathering in liquid on the low side?
